Officers of the Nasarawa State Police Command have arrested a man who raped his 2 nieces in the state. The command revealed the name of this man and he has been identified as Mr. Adamu Sani. This man had allegedly raped his two nieces (his siblings daughters)

These little girls were aged 10 and 4 years old respectively. This incident occurred in the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa state. It was the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, who is DSP Ramhan Nansel, that revealed this to newsmen yesterday, Friday September 29.

He stated this while they were parading 29 suspected criminals arrested in the state in Lafia. These criminals had been arrested for committing various crimes in Nasarawa state.

The PPRO revealed that a complaint had been lodged at Mararaba ‘B’ Division stating that 2 young girls had been raped by their uncle. The report stated the ages of these victims as 10 and 4 years old. These children were left in the custody of the suspect, (their uncle) Adamu Sani. This man happens to be the younger brother to the person who reported the case.

Their parents had gone out to work when this incident occurred. The uncle, after defiling them, warned them not to inform their parents. As soon as the complaint was lodged at the station, the Police operatives immediately swung into action and arrested the uncle. He further revealed that an investigation into the matter is ongoing.
