Markets Hold Steady After Election Highs, Tesla and Crypto Stocks in Focus

U.S. Stock Futures Little Changed Following Post-Election Surge
U.S. stock futures are showing minimal movement this morning after major indexes recorded another strong session on Monday, extending gains post-election. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up more than 300 points, breaking the 44,000 mark. Futures contracts for both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq edged slightly lower in early trading after modest gains in the prior session.

Tesla Slips in Pre-Market After Surge on CEO Musk’s Ties to Trump
Tesla (TSLA) shares are down 1% in pre-market trading after a nearly 9% rally in the previous session, reaching $350. The recent surge follows enthusiasm around CEO Elon Musk's advisory role in President-elect Donald Trump’s upcoming administration. Wedbush analysts have increased Tesla’s price target from $300 to $400, citing significant opportunities in autonomous vehicles and artificial intelligence, which they project to add $1 trillion in value.

Bitcoin Pulls Back, Sending Crypto Stocks Lower
After reaching a high of over $89,000, Bitcoin (BTCUSD) has dipped 2% to around $87,000, dragging down related crypto investments in pre-market trading. Coinbase Global (COIN), Marathon Digital Holdings (MARA), and Riot Platforms (RIOT) are down 2.4%, 3.4%, and 5%, respectively. Crypto ETFs like iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) and Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) remain mostly unchanged.
