Farooq Oreagba, the man who went viral online during the Ojude Oba festival, has revealed in a recent interview that preparations are ongoing for the next Ojude Oba festival.

In an interview on Arise TV, Farooq Oreagba also spoke about his battle with bone marrow cancer 10 years ago, his marriage with his first wife, and the Ojude Oba festival. Farooq Oreagba described the festival as an expensive affair that unites family members from various parts of the world.

To Farooq Oreagba, the Ojude Oba festival is an expression of his identity. He revealed that his family has started arranging clothes for the next Ojude Oba festival in 2025. Farooq Oreagba revealed that as he grew older, he lost a lot of friends especially after he was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, he has learned to keep his friends close and remain firm.

Farooq Oreagba believes in simplicity and going for one he wants unapologetically. He mentioned that he tries as much as possible to cover his tattoos especially when he is at work to avoid side comments from people. Farooq Oreagba appreciated the photographer who took his photos at the Ojude Oba festival for capturing such a beautiful moment for the world to see.
