President Tinubu will join world leaders on Thursday June 22 for the international Summit for a New Global Financing Pact.

The New Global Financial Pact which is slated for 22nd and 23rd June will be hosted by French President, Emmanuel Macron.

The goal of the Summit is to build a new contract between the countries of the North and South and also address climate change which is a global issue.

The event will also address important issues such as the debt crisis, special drawing rights (SDRs), reform of multilateral development banks, access to health and fight against poverty.

World leaders such as Melinda French Gates, the co-founder of Bill and Melinda Gates foundation, President of Brazil, Luis Inacio Lula da Silva, President of the World Bank, Ajay Banga, Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres among others will be present.
