Put on your trekking shoes and get ready to walk, actress Hilda Dokubo says
Nollywood actress Hilda Dokubo encouraged Nigerians to put on their trekking shoes and be prepared for the war ahead. She said that the days of flexing are over and now, everyone has to improvise to avoid spending unnecessarily on petrol. She mentioned that fuel is sold for N1,250 in her area and food has tripled in price. She wonders how people with a lot of kids are managing this economic downturn. She also mentioned how the electricity tariff has been increased twice this year alone. Therefore, she encouraged Nigerians to brace up for the days ahead and be ready to trek instead of purchasing petrol.
She added, "Just so you know. Fuel is N1,250. Which means, on your mandate, we have to stand. On your leg, you have to walk. Get ready. All of you who do not like to walk. Go and get this o. And get trainers. So that you can Waka. We have gone back to the 18th century. Electricity, twice. They have increased it this year. Fuel is N1,250. Diesel is N1,700. Bread is almost N3,000."
