Nigerian rapper and YBNL boss, Olamide, was spotted inhaling a substance identified as "Nitrous Oxide" from a balloon, while he places his hand on the butt of a white baddie.
Netizens have raised their concern over the canister of nitrous oxide seen laying around in the picture. A Doctor on Twitter, @the_beardedsina, also said celebrities must be cautioned if Nigeria is to win the war against hard drugs.
"We just finished a space with NDLEA about people doing Balloons. Peep the picture..See Cannisters of Nitrous oxide close to the bed. Obviously pumped into the balloon, Olamide is inahling. I maintain, if we will win a war on hard drugs. We need to clamp down on celebrities."
The Bearded Dr. Sina wasn't the only person that pointed out the hard drugs Olamide was inhaling, other Twitter users called the rapper out for misleading fans and encouraging the usage of these hard drugs.
However, while some people expressed dissatisfaction with the picture, some saw nothing wrong with what the rapper did.
Here are pictures of the mixed reactions from the audience.
Recall that Olamide announced that his new album "UNRULY" will be out by next month and he specifically said, it's going to contain explicit content.
"Unruly is one month a way. Strictly Bo pata music .. for baddies and men weh love baddies . Mio le rojo . No find moral kinakan come oh please," He said.
It is glaring that this picture is a snippet of what people should expect from the album. In case you're wondering how damaging nitrous oxide is, stay with me.
Nitrous Oxide is simply a colorless gas, that is found in metal canisters. These metal canisters have been pressurized and people inhale the nitrous oxide by inflating a balloon with the substance.
Inhaling nitrous oxide could lead to sudden death, dizziness, or render a person unconscious. People who constantly inhale it are liable to suffer from deficiencies such as vitamin B12 leading to low white blood and red blood cell count.
It works by slowing down the brain and making the inhaler feel a sudden rush of calmness, euphoria, and relaxation. Many also refer to it as laughing gas or hippy crack.
