American rapper and actor Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. popularly known as Snoop Dogg has announced that he has quit smoking.
He made this announcement via his X account yesterday revealing that he has had a deep conversation with his family before taking such a bold step. Snoop Dogg also urged the public to respect his privacy during this sober period.
Snoop Dogg once revealed in an interview last year that he started smoking at the age of 18 and he never stopped smoking ever since.
Though in 2002, he announced that he was going to stop smoking but it didn't last long. Snoop Dogg once revealed that he smokes around 80 cannabis blunts in a day.
The 52-year old wrote, "After much consideration and conversation with my family, I've decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time."
