Reactions as Ogbomosho Chef Tope Maggie embarks on 200-hour cooking marathon

Chef Temitope Adebayo aka Tope Maggie has embarked on a 200-hour cooking marathon in Osun State to break the Guinness World Record. This was after an Irish chef, Alan Fisher, dethroned Hilda Baci by setting a new record of 119 hours and 57 minutes.

Chef Tope Maggie is now set to surpass Alan Fisher's record by cooking for 200 hours. Do you think he is going to achieve this? Regardless, Nigerians are rooting for him so he can bring back the crown to the country. Rumor had it that a Guinness World Record cannot be broken by another person until a year has passed after the current holder of the record bagged it. But Alan Fisher breaking Hilda Baci's record shocked Nigerians and at that point, everyone knew that the record could be snatched at any time.

Now, Chef Tope from Nigeria is set to claim it. Recall that Tope Maggie previously announced he was going to cook for 140 hours and 20 minutes starting November 1st after Hilda Baci won the Guinness World Record. He couldn't go through with the initial plan after a new record was set by Alan Fisher. That made him extend his targeted cooking hours by 60 hours. Isn't that crazy?
