Real Madrid are reportedly set to send Kylian Mbappe a last offer in January in a trial to sign the PSG player on a free transfer in the summer of 2024.

The Spanish powerhouse remains optimistic they can secure their pursuit goal of a free transfer deal for the Frenchman despite rumors of the deal derailing in current weeks.

Mbappe has not demonstrated any change in his attitude, with his contract with Paris Saints Germain expiring in the summer of 2024, and Real Madrid remain positive.

However, despite Real Madrid's eagerness to bring Mbappe to the Spanish capital, there are representatives within the club who are worried about how long the discussions are taking.

Real Madrid infamously missed out on Mbappe in the summer of 2022, after looking confident to bring him from Paris Saint-Germain, only for the striker to sign an expansion at the Parc des Princes.

According to a report from Relevo, Real Madrid are willing to make an offer at the beginning of 2024, but the club wants a timely answer, to avoid a repetition of 2022.

As another transfer window approaches on the edge, the Real Madrid-Mbappe story has once again sprung to life. And this time, it is believed to be in its final attempt, now or never.

Los Blancos will present a proposal to the 2018 World Cup winner in the first part of 2024, enabling the former AS Monaco to join the club as a free agent after completing the season with Paris Saint-Germain.

Until January, FIFA regulations restrict negotiations with a contracted player, this led Real Madrid to renounce any approach being made to the player in November.

With the new year, the circumstances will change as Kylian Mbappe will be in the final six months of his deal at PSG and the club strives to make a final attempt to secure the star plater signature, to put an end to their pursuit that has stood over five years.

Real Madrid did try to undertake the Mbappe operation in the summer of 2023 but financial restrictions thwarted them from manoeuvring.

The 14-time European champions understand the papers are in place for a successful transfer with patients.

Although there is a mood of accountable positiveness in the departments of the Bernabeu, they have learned from past errors and are reluctant to play the waiting game anymore.

They have an offer in place and will not go all out for the player as they are persuaded by the firepower in the team and that of Endrick who will arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu from Brazil's Palmeiras in 2024.

What's next for Real Madrid?

Real Madrid are reportedly willing to pay 35 million euros net per season to Mbappe. They also have one eye on Erling Haaland of Manchester City as they boast of a 342 million pound transfer battle chest in the summer of 2024.
