Real Madrid and Brazil forward Rodrygo has broken his silence on rumors that linked him to a possible move to Saudi Arabia and the Premier League.
Saudi clubs have showed no signs of backing off from their pursuit of experienced European football stars who are keen on taking up a fresh challenge in the Saudi Pro League.
Oiled with their ever-flowing oil money and backed by state actors, Saudi clubs have poached over 40 top stars across top leagues in Europe with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Neymar Jr, Jordan Henderson, Sadio Mane, and others all plying their trade in the Saudi elite division.
While their top targets have been high-profile players relatively nearing the twilights of their career, they have recently shifted focus from aged players to more younger players.
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, French and PSG striker Kylian Mbappe were targeted by big Saudi clubs for a transfer move.
The Saudi clubs reportedly came with their usual money-spinning offers for the players but were turned down.
Rodrygo of Real Madrid was linked to Saudi Arabia as per rumors but the Brazilian fast-rising youngster has debunked the rumors, including links to Premier League move.
In a quote shared by Fabrizio Romano, Rodrygo said;
"I didn't get any offer from Saudi League. I am not interested in Premier League rumors.
"To be honest, I am only thinking about playing for Real Madrid and nothing else. I love Real Madrid. It is all perfect here."
Rodrygo recently signed a new contract extension with Real Madrid till 2028 with his compatriot and Real Madrid teammate Vinicius Jr.
