Rema enters Guinness Book of Record through song ‘Calm Down’

Popular Nigerian musician, Rema has entered the Guinness Book of Record through song ‘Calm Down’

The music star, Divine Ikubor is known popularly as Rema and he is signed to Don Jazzy's Mavin Records.

It was his hit song titled ‘Calm Down’ that influenced this achievement and new record for the star.

The song has made history as the first No.1 Hit on The Official MENA Chart. This chart is the world’s first regional streaming chart.

The news was announced in a post which was shared by Rema’s statistics Twitter jist last Saturday.

The post revealed that the song "Calm Down" by Rema has gained entry into the Guinness Book because it won the First No.1 Hit on The Official MENA Chart Record

This song ever since its release last year, 2022 has topped several charts and become a fan's favorite.

The remix version with popular singer Selena Gomez has also been making waves.




Just recently, Record also shows that Rema has become the first Nigerian artist to reach the top 5 on the hot 100 as a lead artist.
