Rema's album becomes longest charting Nigerian album on US Billboard, breaking King Sunny Ade’s 41-year-old record.

Popular Nigerian musician Rema’s album titled “Rave & Roses” has become the longest ever charting Nigerian album on the US Billboard Albums chart.
This new record has broken the 41 year old record which was set by legendary musician King Sunny Ade.

Rema is a popular Nigerian singer whose real name is Divine Ikubor. He has achieved yet another record with his album which is titled “Rave & Roses”.

His album has been charting on the US Billboard 200 for 30 weeks now. He has surpassed King Sunny Ade’s record which lasted 41 years. King Sunny Ade’s album had charted for 29 weeks and it was the longest running Nigerian album in history and this record was maintained till Rema broke it this week as his album entered its 30th week.
