Rhodri Giggs, the brother of Manchester United great Ryan Giggs, has reiterated that he could have “buried” his brother if he wanted revenge on his brother's misdeed.
This is coming following the former Wales International's long-running affair with Rhodri's wife.
In 2011, it became known that Natasha Level, Rhodri Giggs' wife, had an eight-year affair with Ryan Giggs.
Ryan was at the time married to then-wife Stacey Cooke, and the retired footballer's affair with his brother's wife occurred predominantly during his days at Manchester United.
Natasha and Ryan Giggs conducted inappropriate liaisons in hotel rooms and vacant properties she had access to due to the nature of her job as an estate agent.
Rhodri claims that he was the brain behind her becoming an estate agent, however, 13 years ago, the secret became open to the public.
Rhodri Giggs indicated that he was acquainted with the information from Natasha's mother, with his wife having traveled to Spain for safety.
On a podcast named, The Central Club, the brother of Ryan Giggs maintained that he could have served a major blow on the ex-Manchester United man's career if he intended to by selling fake stories to the media.
Rhodri said: “All I've tried to be is a good father and husband and he's been out galivanting, and he's just an idiot.
“I know what it's about, they constantly think I was selling stories as a younger person because I was friendly with one reporter because I liked him.”
Rhodri Giggs is a former footballer and he expressed that his family thinks he had been selling fake stories to the media for years.
He added: “Doesn't mean I'm selling secret stories, and they still think it to this day.
“They're f***ing idiots, where's the proof? There is no proof. The only little thing is I would make up stories, I'd say his Bentley was black when it was blue.”
“If I was going to sell some stories I'd have done it last year and buried this p****, buried him. There are some stories I know that could have buried him, so if I wanted to sell stories I'd do it, but why would I want to do that? Why? I wouldn't.”
Additionally, the 46-year-old called for his brother “to be careful”, stressing that he is not that “bitter” at Ryan Giggs.
He said: “I'm not that bitter and not that twisted, but he needs to be careful because I could have. A lot of people could have, but they didn't, and it's all from him making the choices he's made, no one else.
“You can't go through life and this nice, innocent family man when you're banging everything in sight. How old is he, 48, 49? He needs to grow the f*** up.”
Rhodri also noted that he had moved on and as such, his brother can contact him to settle things amicably.
“He can ring me whenever he wants. I've moved on, I've got a new career working in schools. All the s*** that I've gone through in life, I've dealt with it on my own mostly.”
Ryan Giggs has shied away from the public since going to court in 2022 and subsequently leaving his role as Wales boss in June 2022 due to the trial.
Giggs is the most successful player in Premier League history, winning 13 league titles, and he made 959 appearances for Manchester United, scoring 166 goals and providing 260 assists in all competitions.
