Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed his decision on his Brighton future amidst swirling rumors that he could leave the club at the end of the season.

De Zerbi was thrust into the spotlight after he led Brighton to a 6th-place finish in the Premier League last season, leading the club to book their first-ever slot in European competition.

Despite an inconsistent run in the Premier League this season, De Zerbi has kept up with a stellar European debut with the Seagulls.

Brighton won all their last four Europa League matches without conceding a goal to book an automatic slot in the last 16 of the competition.

De Zerbi's heroics with Brighton has made him a prime target for top Premier League clubs and other European outfits set to part ways with their managers.

He has been linked to a move to Manchester United with United new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe unconvinced with Erik ten Hag's inconsistent domestic and European campaign this season.

The INEOS chief is said to be eyeing De Zerbi as a possible replacement should he decide to replace Erik ten Hag at the end of the season.

Liverpool have also been linked with a move for Roberto De Zerbi with their manager Jurgen Klopp set to leave at the end of the season.

Amidst reports linking Zerbi to Man United and Liverpool, De Zerbi has revealed he is happy at Brighton and would only be open to return to Italy.

'Yes, I could return to Italy one day. I love the football there but I am happy now at Brighton. The players, staff, and club hierarchy have been very supportive,"
De Zerbi said.

Napoli, Juventus, Roma, including Inter Milan are some Italian outfits who may part ways with their managers at the end of the season. Roberto De Zerbi has been linked to the listed Serie A giants, including the soon-to-be-vacant Barcelona job.
