Russia has sent a strong warning to the United Kingdom over its recent sanctions against Moscow. On Friday, the Russian foreign ministry summoned Deborah Bronnert, the British Ambassador to Moscow, and presented her with a list of her country's transgressions.
The latest penalties against the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company have angered Russia.
According to CNN, the Russian foreign ministry said the ambassador was informed of the unacceptability of such harmful conduct.
Russia has warned that if such acts continue, bilateral ties will surely be severed and relations between the two countries will suffer.
The ministry charged the UK with placing sanctions on Russian journalists just for covering and interpreting events in the country.
Russia however claimed that the latest sections were inconsistent with Western tendencies, confirming British leaders' deceit and cynicism.
According to recent findings,it has been revealed that media freedom is "little more than a tool for managing market problems" for British politicians.
It also accused the UK and its officials of imposing sanctions against Russia and making statements that are "interspersed with lies and plain rudeness.""The
