The Nigerian actress and screenwriter recently posted a video on her IG where she has 5milion followers.
She talked about how film critics condemn a movie's storyline by saying it is predictable. As a screenwriter herself, Ruth said that stories are not meant to be complicated.
A lot of things could go wrong once you begin to complicate a story, and anyone who says her stories are too predictable in an attempt to hurt her is lame.
She said writers should quit trying to over-impress people who say they don't want a story to be too predictable because some aspects of life itself are predictable.
The Nigerian actress stated that the same set of people that condemn a local movie watch foreign movies of actors with predictable movie roles. So, why condemn someone else's story? She concluded by saying she would tell her stories however she deemed fit.
