Sean Diddy loses ties with 18 brands due to sexual allegations
Popular American rapper Sean Diddy has been hit with another issue following the allegations of sexual assault against him. About 18 companies have cut their ties with Sean's company due to the sexual allegation charges against him. Recall Sean Diddy was hit with a 4th legal suit of sexual assault within a month. He has been accused by 4 different women of sexual assault and these companies have cut off ties with him because they don't want to be associated with this sort of scandal.
Sean Diddy Combs, a famous American rapper owns a business venture named Empower Global. The company was founded by Diddy in 2021. Diddy is a 54 year old rapper, record producer, actor and record executive. He founded his record label known as Bad Boy Records, in 1993. He was accused by his Ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura last month of sexual assault which occurred during their on and off relationship of 10 years. The duo settled the case after Diddy agreed to a $30 million settlement.
However, the case became a serious one as another woman who was identified as Joi Dickerson-Neal filed a lawsuit under New York’s Adult Survivors Act. She revealed that Diddy drugged, sexually assaulted and abused her. Not long after, another suit by a woman named Jane Doe was filed. She alleged that took turns raping her and this was in the early 1990s. The 4th woman then filed another suit saying Diddy allegedly trafficked and gang raped her in his recording studio in Manhattan in 2003. She revealed she was 17 years old at the time.
Sean Diddy has had enough of the allegations and on Wednesday, he issued a statement saying enough was enough and he would fight to clear his name. According to him, he is innocent. These 18 companies who had ties with Diddy have now cut him off. The companies have revealed that they have taken the allegations against Sean Diddy Combs very seriously. They are in support of victims who speak their truth and for this, they have decided not to associate with anything that contradicts their values.
