BBNaija Pepper Dem winner, Mercy Eke, reveals in an interview with Victoria Crest Homes how she spent her prize money.
Recall that Mercy got a sum of N30,000,000 in 2019. Instead of lavishing her money on trips, designer bags, and shoes like a lot of ladies would, Mercy bought a house. She said she got her house for N75 million and right now, the house is worth over N150 million. That's one massive profit she would earn once she decides to sell the house.
Mercy Lambo is a smart woman. The interviewer was surprised to hear that Mercy does market analysis to determine the worth of her house.
Mercy also added, "I see a lot of girls living wherever they are living, but they have like five Burkin bags. They have like good cars. These days, forget what people say that you can resell, you can get your money. That's a lie." She said that reselling those expensive fashion items would be at a loss because they are not assets. "You can't compare those things with real estate or investing in properties," she added.
Mercy advised that investing in real estate or properties is a better form of investment than stocking up on expensive fashion items. "Real estate is where your money is not going to miss, it's not going to depreciate. Instead it increases," she concluded.
