Veteran actor Pete Edochie was one of those who attended the movie premiere of AFAMEFUNA, a new movie produced by Kayode Kasum. Pete Edochie was seen holding on to Alex Ekubo and walking slowly due to old age. He exchanged pleasantries with those who were present at the event before sitting on the chair that was specially prepared for him.

Pete Edochie is a respected Nigerian actor and role model to many. He used to work as a broadcaster before he began a career in the movie industry. He rose to fame after playing the role of Okonkwo in the Television series titled Things Fall Apart. He is a family man and is married to Josephine Edochie. The 76-year-old actor is blessed with six children namely Uche, Leo, Gener, Linc, Yul, and a daughter whose name isn't public.
Pete is an Igbo man but was born and raised in Niger State on the 7th of March, 1947. He has starred in a lot of movies such as Lionheart, Idemili, Ebubedike, Return of the Ghost, The Tyrant, etc.
