A video of a particular birthday party that took place somewhere in London has been circulating. The funniest part of it was when the celebrant, a 70-year-old woman, spoke into the microphone and ordered people who didn't purchase her Aso Ebi to get out of her party. She said that anyone who wants to live up to 70 years amongst them should leave, if not they will not live long on earth.
She added that if any of them refused to leave, the food and water they would consume at her party would not be digested. This is hilarious! Have you ever heard of a celebrant pursuing people out of his or her birthday party before?
Out of embarrassment, people were seen exiting one after the other after she directed curses at them.
Aso Ebi is part of the Nigerian culture most especially, to the Yorubas. Everyone who intends to attend whatever party that is being organized will be rocking their Aso Ebi to the occasion but it shouldn't be a do-or-die affair.
