The president's son Seyi Tinubu has debunked the rumor that he gave Mohbad's son Liam Aloba N15m.
Earlier this morning, the Special Adviser to Seyi Tinubu, Olusegun posted a copy of a bank transaction receipt between Seyi Tinubu and Mohbad's son's bank account surfaced online.
Nigerians took to social media to thank the first son of the Republic for his kind gestures towards the late singer's son Liam Aloba.
Few hours later, one of Seyi Tinubu's close associates, J.J Omojuwa took to social media to clarify that there was no donation whatsoever to Mohbad's son.
J.J Omojuwa said, "Seyi Tinubu didn’t donate N15m to Mohbad’s kid or family. I would know, because I have been discussing the issue with him for several days."
He said he has advised Seyi Tinubu not to be influenced by the social media uproar because whatever he does can be politicized but he promised to support Mohbad's immediate family.
He also mentioned that if Seyi Tinubu is helping Mohbad's family in any way, it isn't in his place to announce it but he said he hopes that his son Liam gets all the support he deserves before the public moves to the next thing.
