Shallipopi influenced Rema to start smoking, X user says
An X user identified as @MekaWrights calls Shallipopi a bad influence. He revealed that Shallipopi taught the Mavins star Rema how to smoke after they met at a video shoot. He added that Rema never smoked before then but from the day Shallipopi influenced him, he became addicted to smoking. Recently, Rema has been seen smoking in public, something the singer allegedly never did. Also, his appearance had changed and he looked more emaciated unlike the Rema everyone was used to seeing. This made the X user conclude that Shallipopi was the bad influence after all.
However, the reactions in the media said otherwise as many countered the accusations against Shallipopi. Some said that Rema had been spotted smoking cigarettes on different occasions but rejected Shallipopi's own because the Pluto President was smoking weed. Irrespective of what may have happened, netizens believe that Rema is an adult who is free to decide what he wants. Therefore, it sounds wrong to outrightly accuse Shallipopi of influencing Rema because the "Calm Down" crooner had the right to either accept or reject the weed.
