Shehu sani claims that the woman arrested with multiple PVCs, and others in Kaduna released without charges
Senator Shehu Sani, has claimes that the woman who was arrested with multiple Permanent Voter’s Card (PVCs) has allegedly been released.
This woman was paraded by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) during the presidential election and she has been released according to him.
Shehu Sani is a Nigerian senator and a human rights activist. He also happens to be the President of the Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria. He represented Kaduna Central in the Eight Assembly.
This woman named Maryam Mamman Alhaji was caught by EFCC operatives, early in the morning of the day of the presidential elections on the 25th of February 2023.
She was a member of the support group of one of the major political parties in Nigeria.
She had 18 voter cards in her possession, a list of 17 pages containing names of eligible voters, their bank details, and their phone numbers there.
She was then arrested by some operatives there.
Senator Shehu Sani also mentioned that the men that were arrested for vote buying during the gubernatorial elections have also been released and there were no legal charges pressed against them. These men were paraded by the anti-graft agency during the gubernatorial elections. They were caught and arrested.
He shared this in a tweet recently. He said these two categories of people are now at home.
After tweeting this, he again tweeted hours later to emphasize what he had earlier tweeted.
