Nigerian singer Babatunde Rahim popularly known as Lyta has opened up on being ignored by his colleagues in the entertainment industry.
In a recent interview with Hip TV, the 25-year-old artist shared his concerns about being ignored by his counterparts in the industry. He revealed that he tried reaching out to some artists privately but he got no response.
Lyta said though he has a good rapport with some artists, he has been away from the entertainment scene for a long while so that explains why he wasn't getting feedback. He said artists would prefer associating with a successful artist than with someone like him who has been away for a while.
Lyta is a 25-year-old Nigerian artist from Ajegunle, Lagos State. He shot into the limelight in 2018 after signing a record deal with singer Olamide's label YBNL. In 2019, Lyta left the label due to a fallout between him and his former label boss Olamide. This resulted from contractual issues as Lyta revealed that he didn't sign any written contract with Olamide.
Lyta was later signed to Doro Musik in 2019 and made a comeback with his hit single "Monalisa" which gained massive airplay and captured the attention of singer Davido who later featured on the remix.
In 2020, Lyta got signed to Naira Marley's Marlians Record and released his popular song "Hold Me Down". Later on, Lyta revealed that Naira Marley only supported his career and he never signed him to his record label officially.
