Nigerian songstress Simi celebrates releasing her album Simisola six years ago.
She took to her Instagram page yesterday to celebrate the Simisola album which shot her to limelight in 2017.
She wrote, "You guys, my baby is 6 years old today. This album gave me wings."
After she gained popularity for her single Tiff, the Simisola album cemented Simi's position as one of the talented forces in the Nigerian music industry.
Ever since, she has released two other albums titled Omo Charlie Champagne and To Be Honest after that.
Simi also has an EP with Falz titled Chemistry which is one of her most appreciated collaborations as an artist.
From the get go, Simi was originally a gospel artiste but she had to switch because it wasn't paying off as it should.
Her debut album was Ogaju which was released in 2008 when she was still a gospel artist.
