Popular Nigerian Singer simi has revealed why she decided to date Adekunle Gold who is now her husband.
Somi is a Nigerian singer who is married to another musician known as Adekunle Gold or AG baby. Her full name is Simisola Kosoko. The duo got married in 2019 and they have a child together.
She recently shared the reason she decided to accept to date Adekunle Gold.
She was sharing her story about the beginning of their relationship recently during an interview with the Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos.
She revealed how Adekunle had been sending her messages on Facebook for a while and she didn't take note of it until they had begun dating.
She revealed that they then eventually met at one of her concerts and she got to like him because he was nice. She revealed she was in the gospel music industry and was well known at the time and AG had heard some of her songs.
She also mentioned that they dated for 5 years before they got married.
She revealed that Adekunle came to one of her shows and approached her saying he was a fan. She said he was very slim back then.
They had begun their friendship and he then asked her out later on. She liked that he was a nice guy and she went along with it.
