She was an American-born singer. This woman had left an abusive relationship and rose to fame in her music career which she began in the 1950s. She was known known have left her abusive husband who repeatedly sent her to the emergency room with the injuries she sustained.
She was known for her style which included spiky hair and 80s fashion.

Reports state She died peacefully in her home in Küsnacht, Switzerland. This was after suffering a long illness. The news was shared by her representative.
