Manchester United soon-to-be co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has aimed a brutal dig on Man United new skipper Bruno Fernandes.

The 71-year-old, who is tipped to transformed Manchester United after taking over the club, is already noting down his turnoffs in the Red Devils squad.

We reported earlier Sir Jim Ratcliffe was keen in a new player recruitment plan for Manchester United when his takeover is ratified.

The British billionaire investor reportedly wanted a new recruitment plan that will prioritize homegrown players more than foreigners.

Sources close to the Ineos billionaire have revealed Sir Jim believes Sir Alex Ferguson's successful stint as a manager Manchester United was due to the latter grooming more local talents and football legends. Hence, he believes United stand a chance to reclaim their lost glory should they revert to the old route.

Apart from his ambitious Man United recruitment plan, Sir Jim Ratcliffe had particularly berated Man United signing such as Casemiro.

To him, the signing of the former Real Madrid star was a transfer blunder by the club - a development he will be out to change on taking over as Man United co-owner.

After his Casemiro criticism, Sir Jim has now directed his sledgehammer on Bruno Fernandes.

As shared by Daily Mail, Sir Jim Ratcliffe aimed a dig at Bruno Fernandes in his new book talking about his experience.

He made an allusion to Fernandes comparing his experience to Fernandes' reaction during Man United 7-0 mauling by Liverpool last season.

He wrote, "(his experience) was a far cry from Bruno Fernandes clutching his untouched face in the Liverpool debacle recently.'

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is expected to take over Manchester United footballing operations when his £1.25bn bid is ratified by the club before Christmas.

He is expected to make some swift changes to the club's sporting operations to clear the rot and restore the club back its glory days.
