A trending video of Nigerian singer Adekunle Temitope popularly known as Small Doctor in tears as he paid tribute to the late singer Mohbad has been making the rounds online.
Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad mysteriously passed away on the 12th of September. The mystery behind his death is yet to be uncovered as there is still an ongoing investigation to bring the perpetrators to book.
During Small Doctor's concert over the weekend, the 27-year old took some minutes to pay tribute to his late friend and colleague Mohbad. He paused his stage performance and asked the DJ to play one of the deceased songs titled "Sorry".
As the song was playing in the background, the crowd sang along religiously as Small Doctor sang with tears rolling down his eyes.
Since the passing away of Mohbad, his friends and colleagues in the industry including Bella Shmurda, Zlatan, Rema, Davido among others have paid tribute to him during their stage performances and supported his family in one way or another.
In other news, the next sitting of the coroner's inquest on Mohbad's case will take place on Tuesday, 7th November 2023. Meanwhile, his former record label boss Naira Marley and his colleague Samson Balogun Eletu popularly known as Sam Larry are still in police custody following their arrest on October 3rd 2023.
