Social media needs to crash- Nigerian man laments over the damages social media has done
A Nigerian man has cried out over the damages social media has done to Nigerians and the world at large. It's no news that social media has truly changed the world. It has had its positive and negative impacts on society and people. It has also shaped the perception that people have about many things in life (world view). Social media seems to have a strong hold on people nowadays and its becoming more and more dangerous.
There are various social media platforms in the world and some include the popular Chat app, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, twitter, YouTube etc. Social media doesn't portray realness and it's wise for people not to believe everything they see online. A man has now cried out saying social media needs to be stopped for some time.
Recall last year there was a time that all Meta apps stopped working. Meta apps include Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. It was like the whole world was on shut down. This happened only for a day and it caused a lot of confusion. This Nigerian man had now advocated that social media should crash fot a whole year saying this will help the society to be shaped back.
