CEO of Africa Go Solar, Sola Fajuke, stated at the unveiling of the firm's new pay-as-you-go solar street lighting solution, that solar energy solutions would improve Nigerian's quality of life.

As we all know that solar technology is an innovative discovery that can be used to generate electricity and it works by converting sunlight into electrical energy.

The pay-as-you-go solar solution is an innovative solution to the challenges of electricity that many Nigerians are facing. The firm has collaborated with a Japanese solar technology provider called Fuji Electric. Together, they both deliver solar solutions to European cities.

This proves that the firm can provide sustainable solar solutions to meet the demands of Nigerian communities.

The CEO further stated that solar solutions deliver on three of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 1, 7, and 13, which say zero poverty, affordable and clean energy, and climate action respectively.

Sola further stated that adopting solar solutions will be helpful to Nigerians since the electricity grid has proven to be incapable of supplying enough power to meet the demands of Nigerians.
