Richest man in Nigeria and businessman, Aliko Dangote has been displaced by a South African man known as Johann Rupert in the new Forbes list of richest people.

Reports have shown that Dangote lost a whopping sum of 5.85 billion dollars a day after the CBN floated the Nigerian Naira.
The billionaire reportedly dropped from the 1st position of the richest man in Africa after the his net worth was calculated on the data shown on Bloomberg's Billionaire Index on 15th June.
It was reported that the recent economic policies by President Tinubu also contributed to Dangote's decline.
This however, paved the way for South Rupert making him the current richest man in Africa.
