Suspected Gunmen kidnap Kogi monarch and his wife
Some Suspected gunmen have kidnapped a kogi monarch and his wife. These men abducted the Oba of Idofin, who has been identified as Shedrack Durojaiye Obibeni.
They also abducted his wife and this incident occurred along Makutu-Idofin road in Yagba East Local Government Area in Kogi State.
This happened yesterday, Monday at around 5pm.
Yagba East Local Government Council Chairman, Mr Abdulrasak Asiru, has confirmed this incident. He revealed how sad and shocking it was to hear.
He says it is shocking because they have a very good security system in the Locak Government that wards off such crimes.
He says he knows the incident was well planned because the victims had only stepped out for something and the incident happened in less than 10 minutes.
He says they will not rest until they get to the bottom of it and catch these criminals.
He said the vigilante groups are already searching for the victims and the criminals they want to rescue them quickly.
