Suspected hoodlum abducts and rapes undergraduate in Osun State.
A suspected hoodlum has abducted and assaulted a female student in Osun State. The criminal has been identified as Yemi, also known as Aleeba.
This man has been arrested for abducting this lady and raping her. She is an undergraduate student of the Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State.
This man Yemi is well known for his crimes in the area. He had abducted this woman around Bode Road in Ede. This had happened on Sunday evening.
The lady had cried for help and people had come to her rescue. They were able to rescue the lady and the police arrested him.
After the arrest, they transferred them to the State Criminal Investigation Department which is at the command headquarters located in Osogbo.
The state police Public Relations Officer who is Yemisi Opalola was contacted on Tuesday.
She confirmed this incident. She revealed that the suspect committed the act alone and he has been arrested. She also revealed that investigation into this crime has begun.
The management of the Federal Polytechnic in Ede has condemned this incident.
They also assured everyone that they will ensure that justice is served.
