Nigeria's tallest man, Afeez Agoro Oladimeji passed away at age 48 after battling acromegaly.
The sickness which is usually caused by the overactivity in his pituitary gland, affected his bones and other body parts to grow bigger than usual. This sickness affects people like Agoro who are very tall.
Agoro is said to have developed this ailment at age 19. He tried all he could but all efforts proved abortive.
According to reports, the 7 feet 4 inches tall man has been bedridden for months while receiving treatment at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) before he died due to complications.
