The team members of the professional Argentina football club restrained the team's goalkeeper Emi Martinez from unleashing his anger on the Brazilian Police. Recall that when the Brazil vs Argentina match was about to begin, fights erupted between some Argentinian and Brazilian fans which made the Brazilian Police rush to the scene.
Instead of making peace with those who were fighting, they launched attacks at the Argentinian fans by hitting them with nightsticks. This angered Emi Martinez and he rushed to hit one of the Brazilian Policemen but was immediately pulled back by his team members.
In the end, the Argentinian team was able to calm the situation before returning to the dressing room. If things had escalated, the match would have been affected as panic filled the fan's faces.
