Terrorists launch fresh attack on Zamfara communities, killed 3 and abducted 13 residents
Some terrorists have once again launched another attack on some communities in Zamfara State recently.
These terrorists attacked the community just a few minutes before midnight. They entered the community and began shooting indiscriminately.
During this attack, 3 people were killed and these terrorists abducted 13 other residents of the community.
They attacked one Mayanci community in the Maru area in Zamfara State. This took place on Monday.
Many other people were wounded seriously during the course of this attack. Sources revealed that the attack took place for about 2 hours.
Those who were injured have been rushed to the hospital and are being treated. Some were injured from bullet wounds while soem others from the stamped of everyone trying to run.
Among those who lost their lives in the attack include a former chairperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Mayanci. This man has been identified as Dahiru Maizabura. He was killed in his shop. He had attempted to run home for safety when these men shot him dead.
The other two people who were killed have also been identified and they include Isuhu Nana and Umar Gurmu. They were also killed while they were trying to flee for safety.
Witnesses revealed that these terrorists came to the area on their motorcycles and parked a little distance from the community.
They then walked the rest of the way and began to attack when they got to the center of the community.
Out of the 13 who were abducted from the village, some Vigilantes were also among those abducted. They had also abducted a pregnant woman who they later released because she was pregnant and couldn't walk the long distance to their hideout.
