BBNaija housemate Uriel Oputa has revealed that her kiss with her colleague Groovy was nothing but a publicity stunt.
Former BBNaija housemates, Uriel and Groovy were unveiled as the new brand ambassadors for Flirt Vodka yesterday. In a recent episode of Inside Scoop with Pulse Nigeria, Uriel revealed that her kiss with scripted and used as a marketing strategy to push the brand ahead of the unveiling.
Uriel gave accolades to Nollywood actors that they do a great job trying to portray different characters to the audience saying she is no longer interested in acting like Groovy's girlfriend.
She said, "We were on an assignment and we took on roles to flirt with each other. Everything you saw was an assignment."
Groovy, who was also present, confirmed her statement. Uriel expressed that the kiss in the car that went viral was staged by the production team who were even telling them what to do at the scene. She said it was amazing working with Groovy because he was a wonderful actor.
She said they attended an event a few days ago and Groovy played his role excellently well. She said Groovy told her that they should walk into the event like a couple. He held her hand from the car and made her so comfortable.
Afterwards, they brought out the bottles of vodka in different flavors showing it to the audience announcing that she, Groovy and Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson are the latest ambassadors for Flirt Vodka.
Groovy said looking at the way the brand selected their ambassadors, they wouldn't have chosen anyone else for the job other than the both of them. Groovy ended the video by stylishly flirting with Uriel saying she is "six flavors of Flirt Vodka"
