The last message of Nigerian man who committed suicide after losing N2.5 million to a bet has been revealed
The last message of the Nigerian man identified as Onoh Chukwuma Richard who drank sniper after he lost N2.5 million to a sports bet has been revealed. The screenshot of the last message he sent was about him explaining to a friend that he would soon end it all. He explained how he borrowed N1.2 million and added to his own N1.3 million to stake a bet, with the hope that he would get lucky. He explained to this friend that he was at the shop where he wanted to purchase a sniper insecticide and would drink it because he didn't have a means of repaying his debt.
This friend of his calmed him and instructed him not to make any rash decisions. The friend asked Richard to provide details regarding the deadline for the loan repayment but unfortunately, it was too late to get that piece of information out of Richard. He didn't get to read that message and he died later in the evening after consuming the sniper insecticide.
Richard's story is a sad one. He quickly went viral after he posted on his Facebook about how he would end his life because he had no means of repaying the loan he staked in a bet. He appreciated a few of his friends and ended the short announcement with, "My spirit is with you all."
