The market does not always price companies correctly in the short term. Some businesses with solid fundamentals, strong earnings potential, or strategic positioning can remain undervalued for a long time before investors fully recognize their value.
For patient investors, these moments often present some of the best opportunities in the market. Identifying such companies early can make a huge difference in long-term portfolio performance.
With the current developments in the Nigerian stock market, there may be a few stocks quietly trading below their intrinsic value.
In your opinion, which stock on the Nigerian Exchange is currently the most undervalued, and why do you think the market has not priced it correctly yet?

Not all investor can do the maths to know how to pick undervalued stocks ..I want to believe that our oga should teach us on what parameters to use ...
This are the few stocks i feel ..
Access
Fidelity
NPF....
If wema bank is trading at #26 access should go higher...
Fidelity against wema too ...
NPF against jaiz

You have a point. Not every investor can easily calculate undervalued stocks.
From a simple comparison, Access and Fidelity do look relatively cheap against Wema, and NPF against Jaiz.
It would really help if our senior members could share the key parameters they use to spot undervalued stocks.

To me Access bank come 1st despite their poor dividend pay out ,they still have a strong potential to move up

I get you… Access Bank may not have the best dividend, but the growth potential is definitely there, and that’s what makes it attractive to many investors.

I agree with you, sir. Access Bank seems to be undervalued, but my question is will they pay a good dividend this year ?
