Popular Nigerian comedian AY has revealed that the only personal belongings he has are the ones he travelled with. He shared this following the fire incident at his house in Lagos some weeks ago.
AY is a popular comedian and actor. His full name is Ayodeji Richard Makun. Recall a fire incident had occurred in his home in Lekki, Lagos state on the 6th of August 2023. At the time the incident happened, AY's wife and children were in the US and he went to join them shortly after the incident.
The fire had burnt a large part of the house and destroyed many of their properties. AY recently shared that the only clothes and shoes he has presently are the ones he travelled with. He shared a video of the reconstruction being done at his house presently.
He stated "It feels weird to realize that the only clothes, shoes, and jewelries I have right now are the ones I traveled with... There is no such thing as going back to square one. We shall rebuild our lives using this adversity as a stepping stone to greatness. God, no go shame us".
