Nollywood actor Jim Iyke advises the public to be cautious of the people they keep around them.
In an interview with Teju Babyface, Jim Iyke stated that the only person who wants to see you succeed more than them in life is your biological father. He mentioned that other people such as friends, siblings, and relatives may not feel comfortable about one's success.
Jim Iyke recalled an experience with a friend who introduced him to a real estate deal. After getting his first deal, he made money in no time due to his influence and celebrity status. His friend called him for another deal but this time, he had no money left since he had invested all the returns from the previous deal. He asked his friend for some money but to his surprise, his friend felt reluctant to help him despite their close relationship.
