The founder of the beauty pageantry brand Face of Beauty Nigeria's husband Peter has finally broken silence after the viral video of his wife sparked several reactions across social media.
Recall that a few days ago, his wife Patience Egbor posted a video on her Instagram page asking Nigerians for financial assistance to rent a house for herself and her two kids. According to her, her husband abandoned her and the children after she went broke. She said she was the sole provider of the family and her husband envied her because of that.
She spoke about how her husband treated her unfairly because she was earning more than her husband. She also mentioned how her husband was furious with her because she bought a car in her name instead of his own name. Patience appealed to Nigerians to support her in finding a place to stay or she'd be homeless in the coming days.
Yesterday, her husband put out a statement online stating that he will not debunk or address the issue going on between him and his ex-wife because he is protecting his children and the union that brought them to the world. He said he isn't going to debunk any claims because of the so-called online in-laws who weren't present in the marriage with them because there are two sides to a story.
He stated that the internet never forgets so his kids will never see him hurling insults on their mother just to gain sympathy from strangers. He asked the public to refrain from spreading any false information that he abandoned his children. He said leaving a failed relationship due to reasons best known to him doesn't equate leaving his children.
He expressed that he has plenty of evidence to back up his claims but he will never release it to the public to see because his children's safety comes first before his own safety.
