A Nigerian actress known as Uche Ogbodo is currently trending over her comment on a recent post. An X user identified as @OffUchay had narrated how his father told his mom to fry some plantains for him, hours after she had just lost her dad. He wrote, "The day my Grandpa died, my mom was disheartened about the kids of her father, my dad came back from work, asked her if she heard the news early, and asked her to go fry plantain for him."

People blamed @OffUchay's father over his insensitivity and unkind nature but actress Uche Ogbodo had a different view. She said that there is nothing wrong when a man asks his grieving wife to fry plantain for him after losing her father. Quickly, netizens pointed out how cruel and insensitive she was to have written such as comment under the post. Many claimed that Uche Ogbodo is one of the 'pick-me' women who say things just to win men's hearts.

Some assumed that Uche Ogbodo was raised in a home devoid of empathy, sympathy, and emotional intelligence and reasoned according to what she knew. Many called Uche's mother a slave who never showed Uche what love and kindness meant.

Actress Uche Ogbodo is a Nollywood actress who made her debut back in 2006 through a movie titled "Another Bondage." The 37-year-old was born in Enugu State and attended the University of Nigeria. She has two baby daddies and birthed one child each for them.
