They were not selling tickets to Nigerians, X influencer disclosed what went down at the AFCON final
An X influencer with the handle @TheSerahIbrahim has complained about how the Cote d'Ivoire refused to sell tickets to Nigerians for the AFCON finals. She claimed that over 57,000 people were in the stadium and Nigerians were not up to 94 because tickets were hoarded. She said even the NFF didn't try to make reservations for the tickets and it was so unfortunate that the majority of Nigerians weren't granted entry into the stadium.
She added how Nigerian support bands were locked outside the stadium where they had no means of cheering the Super Eagles on while they played. She also claimed that those who were granted entry purchased their tickets for as high as $100 instead of the usual $5. To her, that was one way to mess with our players' minds which ended up becoming successful.
