Tinubu calls for special prayers and thanksgiving to mark 71st birthday
Incoming president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu jas called for special prayers and thanksgiving to mark his 71st birthday on Wednesday, 29th of March 2023.
Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a Nigerian politician is the president-elect of Nigeria.
He contested under the political party of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in the 2023 General elections last month.
To mark his birthday this year, Bola Tinubu has said that special prayers and thanksgiving service be held on Wednesday 29 March qhich is today. This would be in place of the yearly birthday colloquium they hold.
These prayers are to be held in Lagos and some other states. This statement was released by his spokesperson, Mr Tunde Rahman on the 27th of March.
The special prayers will be at the Central Mosque in each of the five divisions in the state. This is the main event.
The Mosques include the Central Mosque, Alausa, Ikeja.
They mentioned that during the course o fthe event, there will be prayers offered for Nigeria, prayers for peace unity and progress.
They will begin with a prayer session at Alausa Central Mosque by 10 a.m. today and there will also be delivery of sermons and reading from the Holy Quran.
