Tinubu says that will live up to expectations without excuses.

The President-elect, Bola Tinubu, has revealed that he will live up to expectations.
He made mention of this on Sunday night, May 28, 2023.

He mentioned that he contested to be the president and would make sure he delivers all his promises and live up to expectations without excuses.

He said that he will set this nation, Nigeria back on the path of growth.

He spoke at the inauguration dinner which was held in the Old Banquet Hall in the Presidential Villa in Abuja last night.

The dinner was organized by the Presidential Transition Council (PTC).

Tinubu said even though many challenges are facing the country at the moment, this will not serve as an excuse for him to not perform as he should. He said there would be no excuses for failure.

He thanked everyone who was in attendance at the dinner. He then gave some lessons that democracy in Nigeria has taught the rest of Africa.

He said Nigeria has stumbled many times but never fell. He described Nigeria as a unique country.he mentioned how they have to fight corruption, poverty and some other irregularities in the country.

He then said he would ensure he delivers all he has promised.

He mentioned that by today, his predecessor, Buhari will head to Daura which borders Niger.

The outgoing President, Muhammadu Buhari also thanked everyone who came from other countries and mentioned that the electoral process which happened recently gave power back to the Nigerian electorate.

He then addressed Nigerians and congratulated them to tell them there is power in their votes.

He also revealed that he will be flying back to his base today to tend to his cows and sheep.

He then bid everyone a good bye.
