Tinubu set to be inaugurated today.

President-elect, Bola Tinubu is set to be sworn into office today as the president of Nigeria.

Today, May 29, 2023 is the day which has been highly anticipated.

The outgoing President, Muhammadu Buhari will hand over the baton and his administration of 8 years will end.
Tinubu will be inaugurated alongside the Vice-President-Elect, Kashim Shettima.

The delegations from other countries began to arrive last week and more arrived in Abuja on Saturday and Sunday for this event.

The inauguration is set to take place at the Eagles Square today. Security in Abuja has been tightened in preparation for today. Vehicles have been positioned and given to delegations to ensure ease of movement.

Recall few days ago, the outgoing President showed Tinubu round his office in preparation for today.

Tinubu who contested under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC) beat the other presidential candidates in the February elections and won.

The other major candidates include Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP)
