Nigerian singer and songwriter Tiwa Savage has written a petition to the Lagos Police Command against her colleague David Adeleke popularly known as Davido for assault and bodily harm.
It all started a few days ago when Tiwa Savage's ex-husband Teebillz called out Davido on social media for threatening and bullying her as well as abandoning his daughter Imade Adeleke. Reacting to this, Davido posted pictures of him and his wife Chioma on vacation in St. Kitts and Nevis.
In response to this, Tiwa Savage filed a petition to the Police Commissioner of Lagos State against the singer seeking intervention for the threat of assault and grievous bodily harm. According to Tiwa Savage, she posted a photo of her and Sophia Momodu on her Instagram story some days ago. On seeing this, Davido reacted and sent a message to her manager spewing malicious, disrespectful, and derogatory words to him.
Afterwards, Tiwa Savage told Davido never to reach out to him because she had been there for him and his daughter Imade especially when his son Ifeanyi passed away. Tiwa Savage stated that she has gotten a lot of calls and messages from colleagues asking her what she did to the singer. Meanwhile, Davido's reaction is a result of her friendship with his baby mama Sophia Momodu.
In Tiwa Savage's words, "He has told our mutual connections to warn me to be careful in Lagos because he's going to f*ck me up."
Note that this is the first time Tiwa Savage will be responding after her ex-husband Teebillz called out Davido online.
