Nigerian Athlete, Tobi Amusan, who won the 2022 World Athletics Championships in the 100m hurdles, finished third place in the 2023 women's 100m hurdles at the Ostrava Golden Spike.
She finished in 12.47 secs, while the winner, Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, finished in 12.42 secs. The athlete who came second, Tia Jones, finished the race within 12.44 secs.
Other athletes who ran the 100m hurdle are Nia Ali from the United States. She came fourth place with a record of 12.75. Michelle Jenneke from Australia came fifth place with a record of 12.88.
Similarly, Luca Kozák from Hungary with a record of 12.98, came in sixth place. Devynne Charlton from the Bahamas came seventh place with a record of 13.01 while Cindy Sember from Great Britain finished last.
The 26-year-old Nigeria athlete is set to compete on Friday, 30th of June, at the Lausanne Diamond League.
